So I’ve been thinking a lot about the whole ‘people change’ thing.
I’m not sure people DO change.
I heard someone say: “People don’t really change. They like to believe they have, but deep down they’ll always be the same”
Ok, so i paraphrased, minorly, but that’s what the dude was getting at. And it really got me thinking. People say, “i’ve changed” constantly. Which actually translates to: “i want to believe i’m bigger than this” or “i’ve grown up” (the fact they have to SAY it, shows you how much growing up they’ve been doing) or “i need an excuse to act like i’m a better person than you”. I’m not entirely sure why people say it, but i want to see it. Something real. I want to see hearts changed. Lives changed.

Then i’ll believe people can change. Really Really change.
